Three LED bulbs illuminate the grill, activated by a tilt-switch sensor when the grill lid rises. A manual on/off button also ignites the light. The LED bulbs shine for a lengthy 10,000-hour lifetime while three AAA batteries power the light for approximately 20 hours. Weber designed the handle light for Weber Genesis and Summit grill models, though the two included mounting brackets also may accommodate other grills with circular thermoplastic or round stainless-steel handles.
