looks fantastic on bluRay and passes the 3 year old test!

My 3 year old son watches it over and over by request. He sits thru the entire movie, which is rare as most parents can testify to. Looks great on BluRay, clever, touching and funny. My kid loves dinasaurs, so it's a natural hit in our house. Good buy at the right price.
Iced Tea, anyone?

I am not a movie reviewer, however, that said, I enjoyed this little Disney romp immensely, mainly because I think I'm a kid at heart.Blu Ray doesn't hurt, either. I'm too old for 3D...it would be more like 2 1/2D. I have always liked Raymond Ramano, so naturally, I enjoyed the movie due in large part to his characterization of the male mammoth. Queen Latifa was delightful also, but they both paled next to the portrayal of Sid, their friend. I would recommend this movie to just about anyone who enjoys fun stories.
Best of the 3 ice age.

Problems with the blu-ray disc

Whatever you do, don't take the option to download the software for blu-ray live.
I couldn't get this disc to play, and I have updated software and a new Sony blu-ray player. I can play Avatar, which is supposed to be one of the trickier blu-ray formats. I've never had trouble with any disc until this one.
These extra features are not worth the pain and hassle.
Once I removed the USB stick with the downloaded software, then I could access the movie. Save yourselves the pain and skip the "software download" for blu-ray live for this movie.
Other than this hassle, the movie is beautiful. Nothing shows blu-ray quality better than these computer animations.
